padChateau Musar 1995 - Lebanon
pad
The varieties that collaborate to produce Château Musar White are particularly special; obeideh and merwah are indigenous to Mount Lebanon, their history dates back to ancient times. The vineyards of white grapes are located at an altitude of 1200m and hence the harvest takes place later than for reds, normally between the 5th and 15th October. Both varieties are partly fermented in oak "barriques" where they mature for a further 9 months. They are then blended, bottled and aged for a further 4 years before release.

padChateau St Louis Chardonnay
pad
The chardonnay is planted on 13 acres of residual river sand and clay. These vines produce a golden colored wine with a lightly fruity aroma and complex yet balanced flavours of citrus and baked apples. Saint Louis chardonnay pairs well with poultry, pastas, or asian dishes.

padNaia Des 2004
pad
"The 2004 Naia Des is a barrel-fermented 100% Verdejo old vine selection from 80- to 100-year-old vines (this varietal was planted on the left bank of the Duero River in the Middle Ages). It reveals a subtle note of wood along with honeysuckle, lemon blossom, and orange rind, medium to full body, a terrific texture, and a savory, fleshy style. Drink it over the next 1-2 years. Impressive!" - Rated 91, Robert Parker

padMarques de Gelida Brut Esclusive Cava
pad
A blend of 4 grape varieties, the highest percentage being Macabeo, this wine spends 3 years in the bottle before going to market. A great, fresh peach and lemon aroma is followed on the palate with stone fruit flavors and a lengthy, mineral and fruit finish.

padChateau Monbousquet 2003 Bordeaux 375ml
pad
St. Emilion, Bordeaux

"From a mixture of sand, gravel, and clay soils, this unheralded terroir produces wines well-above its pedigree thanks to the extraordinary efforts of proprietors Chantal and Gerard Perse. The wines are given a 4- to 5-week maceration in both stainless steel and oak, and are aged sur-lie in new oak. The dark ruby/purple-colored 2003 offers up notes of smoky meats, melted licorice, jammy black cherries, spice box, earth, and cedar. This plump, fleshy, sexy, unfined, unfiltered wine represents a classic blend of 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Yields were 32 hectoliters per hectare, and the alcohol is 13.5%. Anticipated maturity: now-2016." - Rated 93, Robert Parker

"Essence of blackberry here on the nose with a hint of cream. Full-bodied yet silky and refined, with lovely texture and length. Delicious and long. Gorgeous. Best after 2010. 7,000 cases made. –JS" - Rated 90, Wine Spectator
